What are the Summer Harp Institutes?

Now in their eighteenth year, the Summer Harp Institutes offer five performance level specific weeks of intensive study of the harp.

Harpists will focus on practice, performance, musicianship and ensemble skills in a supportive and inspiring musical environment. Music will be chosen to challenge and engage each student based on their performance level. An extraordinary number of students return year after year (over 90% of students have attended more than one year) as the Summer Harp Institutes not only nurture musical ability but provide all of the camaraderie of a summer music experience where students form friendships that last a lifetime.
