The HARPS Foundation's 3rd Annual Fundraising Gala & Auction

Proceeds go to HARPS Foundation in order to support programming and outreach efforts. Auction items range from exotic vacation getaways to donated items guaranteed to delight and surprise. At our live event, all of our core ensembles - Troubadour, Lyra, Concert, and Touring - will be performing during the silent auction. The event will be catered by the Richmond Country Club!

Frank Voltz began playing the harp as an adult. After playing the harp for only 5 years, he competed and won Second Prize in the Lyon & Healy International Jazz and Pop Festival Competition, Lever Harp Division in 1997. He has been guest clinician and performer at the Charm City Harp Conference (1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003), Somerset Folk Harp Festival (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007, and 2008), Neosho River Harp Festival (2005), Southeastern Harp Weekend (2006), Beginning in the Middle (2007, 2008), and Harp Gathering (2008). He has recorded three CDs as a solo harpist, two CDs as a solo pianist, and has published many gospel/jazz harp arrangements and original compositions for pedal and lever harp. Frank is a member of the Piedmont Chapter of the American Harp Society.
