(new to harp beginners only/ half day) Daily Schedule Monday - Friday
- 9:00-9:50 Harp Ensemble/ Group Lesson
- 9:50-10:00 Break
- 10:00-10:30 Exploration of the Musical Ages
- 10:30-11:00 Practice Time with Individual Attention
- 11:00-11:15 Dalcroze Rhythmic Movement Activities
- 11:15-12:00 Harp Ensemble
Special Event Week 1
On Friday, at the conclusion of the Institute, there will be a final “works in progress” concert and reception for families. WEEK 2 August 4- 8, 2008
(advanced beginners, intermediate and advanced/ full day or half day) Daily Schedule Monday - Friday
- 9:00-12:00 Music History, Music Theory, Ear Training
- 12:00-1:00 Lunch
- 1:00 1:45 Harp Ensemble
- 1:45-2:30 Seminars/Workshops
- 2:30-3:15 Individual Lessons/Practice Time
- 3:15-4:00 Chamber Music/ Harp Ensemble
WEEK 3 August 11- 15, 2008
(intermediate to advances/ full day only) Special Events Weeks 2 and 3
- Tour of Agecroft Hall, a 15th Century English Tudor Estate in the RSHI neighborhood, www.agecrofthall.com
- Excursion to nearby, eclectic shopping/dining area of Carytown www.carytown.org.
- On Friday, at the conclusion of each week of the Institute, there will be a final “works in progress” concert and reception for families.
- Social activities.
