"The Art of the Harp" with the Cultural Alliance of Charles City County

The American Youth Harp Ensemble will present an evening of solo and ensemble works for the harp at 7:00 pm, sponsored by the Cultural Alliance of Charles City County.

The Cultural Alliance of Charles City County, VA has organized hundreds of live performances for the public and for students of all ages in the county since 1994. In-school performances, workshops, lectures and short residencies have helped to enhance cultural offerings in the public schools. In programs ranging from The Richmond Symphony and Richmond Ballet to the Cuban National Folkloric Dance Ensemble and the American Indian Dance Company, the broadest range of musical and theatre genres have been presented to challenge and stimulate residents of Charles City County. Annually, the Alliance has been funded by the county's Board of Supervisors and by the Virginia Commission for the Arts, a state agency.

Tickets are $15 for adults; $5 for students; children under 6 are free. Tickets are available at the door.
